ACCREDITATION

PACIFIC NORTHWEST GI & LIVER UPDATE

Statement of Need
The goal of this program is to provide important clinical and scientific data on the management of chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners involved in the care of patients with CLD and GI disorders.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
• Describe current guidelines for the diagnosis and management of CLD and GI disorders
• Employ an evidence-based approach to the management of CLD and GI disorders
• Identify new advances presented at major congresses and assess their potential impact on clinical practice

Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Cincinnati and Focus Medical Communications. The University of Cincinnati is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The University of Cincinnati designates this live activity for a maximum of 6.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
